JESIEK,  Daniel Stephen -- Age 80, of Flint, died December 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 22 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Preacher Thane Nelson officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Wednesday December 22 at the funeral home. Daniel was born May 15, 1941 in Flint the son of Leroy Sherman Jesiek and Thelma Ruth (Odykirk) Jesiek. He married Dora Lara on February 25, 1967 in Clio; she preceded him in death in 2006. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked for General Motors. He was a lover of motorcycles and rode until he could not ride anymore. Surviving are: four children, Howard Withey of Flint, Daniel Withey of San Diego, CA, Lisa (Mark) Mikels of Davison, Rebecca Beasley of Georgia; grandchildren, Eric, Anthony, David, Jacob, Brian, Robert, Haley, David, Staci, Traci, and Caitlin; fourteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jane Buhl of Kalkaska, Priscilla Khirfan of Swartz Creek, Abigail Jesiek of Greenbush, Nancy Jesiek of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dora; daughter Dawn Withey; granddaughter Mackenzie; sisters, Milicent Walker, Esther Cavanaugh, Lois Neitzke; and brothers Vincent and Phillip.
