Daniel Jeffrey Hamp

HAMP, Daniel Jeffrey -- Age 75, of Flint, died December 18, 2023.  Services will be held 2 PM Friday January 19 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements  provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road,  Swartz Creek. 

Daniel was born February 12, 1948 in Flint the son of Freeman D. and Martha J. (Steensma) Hamp. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Daniel was the Owner and Operator of Marshalls TV Sales and Service in Flint. He was good at fixing things.  He enjoyed playing cards, dice, and games, and he had a good sense of humor.  He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Hamp; grandson, Nathaniel Smith; siblings, Timothy R. Hamp, Nicholas S. (Jane) Hamp, Julieanne R. Hamp; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Michael E. Hamp; Patrick B. Hamp.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
