Daniel Griggs

GRIGGS, Daniel "Dan" Paul- Age 53, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, October 3, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3PM Wednesday, October 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Tuesday and 2PM until time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association. Daniel was born July 28, 1966 in Midland, the son of Max Vincent and Helen Ruth (Miller) Griggs. He married Tracy Hennigan in Midland on June 27, 1992. Dan enjoyed playing basketball, football, golfing, going to the beach, lounging in the pool, trips up north and especially spending time with his girls and his family. He currently worked for Barnes and Noble since 2016 and Baker College from 1998 to 2016. Surviving are: wife of 27 years, Tracy Griggs of Swartz Creek; daughters, Morgan Griggs and Kelsey Griggs both of Swartz Creek; parents Max and Helen Griggs of Midland. He is also survived by his siblings, Doug (Betsy) Griggs of Hastings; Chris Griggs of Lansing; Nancy (Steve) Grau of Chelsea; Terry (Mary) Griggs of Kingsley, Sandy (Mike) Flynn of Commerce Twp, and many nieces and nephews.
