Daniel Brown

BROWN, Daniel K. - age 70, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 surrounded by family. Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor David Boilatt officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday and 11 AM - 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the family. Mr. Brown was born July 13, 1945 in Flint, the son of Wallace and Ila (Lucas) Brown. He married Renea Parnell on February 16, 1974. Mr. Brown retired from General Motors in 2001. Dan was an avid Michigan fan, loved watching sports and spending time with family. He is survived by: wife, Renea Brown; five cherished children, Durinda Putnam, Jeff (Eileen) Brown, Raeanna (Paul) Fry, Patricia (Patrick) Holland, and Derek Brown; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (Ward) Twining and Carolyn Yack; brother, Earl (Dawn) Brown; and over 100 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Robert and Phillip 'Bill' Brown; sister, Louella Brown; father-in-law. Arthur Parnell; sisters-in-law, Dawn Petit and Itha Brown; brother-in-law, Arthur Yack. A special thank you to the Medilodge of Howell 1 South staff for taking such good care of him.
