BEARBOWER, Daniel J. -- Age 69, of Swartz Creek, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 10 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Ron Nuckles officiating. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Wednesday, and 1-2 PM Thursday. Private interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the West Flint Church of the Nazarene Youth Group Dan was born May 24, 1946 in Flint. He resided in the Flint area his entire life. He married Linda Yager June 12 1971 in Flint. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the American Legion in Swartz Creek. He retired from Grand Trunk (CN) Railroad in 2006 with 34 years of service. He attended the West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Dan was a life member of Ducks Unlimited. Dan was a kind man who knew no strangers. He always loved to tell his stories to whoever would listen. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda; 2 children, Amy (Kevin) Fitzpatrick of Swartz Creek, Andy (Sarah) Bearbower of Davison; grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Hayden, Greyson; brother, Bob (Judy) Bearbower of Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
