Daniel Bahr

BAHR, Daniel Ray - Age 64, of Grand Blanc, died February 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, February 13, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Sunday and from 12PM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Daniel was born March 10, 1952 in Ludington, the son of Richard and Doris (Marrison) Bahr. As a young man, he enjoyed working on relatives farms. Dan retired from General Motors in 2006 after 33 years of service. He served as a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years and also volunteered with the Holly Ambulance Service. He also did volunteer work with the Carrie Nation Festival and Holly Jaycees. Dan had a quick wit; he loved to fish, jigsaw puzzles and had been a private pilot since 1984. Surviving are his siblings, Richard (Pranee) Bahr, Susan Beebe, Katrina (Don) Bair, Marguerite (David) Adams, Rochelle (Blaine) Mullins; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
