Daniel Backmeier

BACKMEIER, Daniel Joseph- Age 52, of Flushing, died Monday, June 24, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 27, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Daniel was born September 19, 1955 in Minot, ND, the son of Edward J. and Nadora Maxine (Dickey) Backmeier. He had attended Whitmore High School in Toledo, OH. Danny enjoyed spending time with his pets, Buster, Smokie and Missy. He also enjoyed spending time with his children watching movies. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Heather and special little Goobie, Danielle; son, Joel; step children, Amanda and Jessica; 2 step grandchildren; mother, Dori; brother, Bryon (Tina); sister, Susan (Joe) Shaheen; several nieces and nephews.
