Daniel Allen

Allen, Daniel Lee - Age 90, of Davison, died January 17, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A family gathering will be held at a later date. Daniel was born October 27, 1927 in Flint, the son of Lee and Lucille (Miller) Allen. He served in the US. Army from 1946-1947. Daniel married Betty Shepard in April 1950. He retired from Consolidated Package in Flint in 1990 moving to Evart, returning to the Flint area in 2011. Daniel loved to hunt, fish, and play cards with the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Betty; 2 children, Clifford (Linda) Allen, Nadine and (Robert) Thompson; sister, Jenny Moench of Flint; brother, Thomas (Bobette) Allen of North Carolina; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
