Dalton Rolfe

ROLFE, Dalton Lee - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, July 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Pastor Aaron Kesson officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-9 PM. Dalton was born April 17, 1937 in Flint, the son of Orin and Norma (Davis) Rolfe. He was a 1954 graduate of Flint Central High School. He married Ione L. Sharpe June 28, 1969 and she preceded him in death November 1, 2006. Dalton had resided in Swartz Creek since 1979, coming from Davison. He retired from the U.S. Navy. He also retired from GMSPO in Swartz Creek. He was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Dalton also was a member of Tails-A-Wagon (Charpter1) camping club and a member emeritus of the Detroit Model Railroad Club in Holly. Surviving are: sons, Eric and wife Amanda Rolfe of Ypsilanti and Ryan and wife Lillian Rolfe of Madison, MS; granddaughter, Cecily; grandsons, Emmett, Joseph Dalton, and Brent Rolfe.
