Dallas Smith

SMITH, Dallas Lee - age 74, of Fenton, died August 22, 2020. A celebration of life will be held 4 PM - 7 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Legend's Bar & Grill. 3235 W. Thompson Rd., Fenton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 4444 W Bristol Rd # 320, Flint, MI 48507. He was born September 4, 1945 in Flint, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy (McGlashen) Smith. Dallas began his career by hauling milk from a family farm which soon moved into long-haul trucking and later became a trucking agency with many trucks and drivers working for him, including his sons. Dallas was well known on Lake Fenton for his yellow pontoon, Mellow Yellow and loved playing Keno. Surviving are: wife, Tracy Smith of Fenton; children, Jeff (Connie) Smith of Linden, Greg (Susan) Smith of Fenton, Cammie Schanick of Gaines, and Amanda (David) Neale of Oxford; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; twin sister, Diane (Will) Davison of Traverse City; brother, David (Marla) Smith of Bellevue, MI; many nieces and nephews.
