Dale Jerome "Jerry" SAWADE

SAWADE, Dale Jerome "Jerry" - Age 72, of Fenton, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at his home after a very short illness. Funeral service will be held 1PM Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9PM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association. Mr. Sawade was born December 11, 1936 in Flint, the son of James Sawade. He had lived in Fenton his entire life. Jerry and Patty Hayes were married May 12, 1962 in Linden. Mr. Sawade attended both Fenton and Linden High Schools and was employed by Winterseal of Flint for 25 years and Vinyl Teck Window Systems for 13 years. Surviving are: wife, Patty; 2 children, Dale James and Freda Sawade of Linden, Kelli and Timothy Kniffel of Ortonville; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Hannah and Tyler; brother, Jim and Georgina Sawade of Gladwin; sister, Dorothy Wolfe of Linden; dear friend, Jim Workman from Holly.
