Dale Parks Jr.

Parks, Dale Elmer Jr. - Age 65, of Burton, died March 23, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. Private services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. A service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, April 10 at Harmony Baptist Church, 5106 E. Bristol Road, Burton.  Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Intensive Care Unit at Ann Arbor VA. Dale was born June 22, 1955 in Flint, the son of Dale Elmer and Burnadette A. (Lozen) Parks. He married Linda Monroe in Flint on July 24, 1998. Dale proudly served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was a welder by trade. Dale was also a licensed minister. He did jail and prison ministry. Dale loved his Harley, fishing and going to the gym. He is survived by his wife, Linda; 5 children, Kristina Keeling of Brighton, Lonnie (Anastacia) Dodson of Burton, Randy Dodson of Montana, Billie Jo (Matthew) Smithingell of Durand, Dale Elmer Parks of Owosso; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Barbara Bouchard of Swartz Creek, Mary Hippensteel of Davison, Kris (Scott) Carsner of West Virginia.
