Dale Gilmer

GILMER, Dale Russell -- Age 82, of Durand, died June 17, 2015. No public services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Dale was born December 12, 1932 in Flint the son of Frank Russell and Violetta G. (Ochtel) Gilmer. He married Patricia A. Shepherd on April 30, 1955 in Mt. Morris. He retired from GM - Chevrolet V-8 Engine. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia; children, Laura (Dennis) Forbes of Oklahoma, Sherry L. Duberville of Burton, James Russell (Cynthia) Gilmer of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Justin M. (Alexandria) Bradberry, Jonathan (Emily) Gilmer, Richard Gilmer, Travis Gilmer; 2 great-granddaughters, Adrianna and Kayla Bradberry; brother, Gary D.
