ESTEP, Dale G. - Age 63, of Fenton, passed away, January 28, 2024. Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Tom Hoose, officiating. Visitation 12:00 PM until time of service Friday. Interment Gardner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dale may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dale was born, June 8, 1960 in Flint, the son of Wayne D. "Gompy" and Christine (Elkins) Estep. Dale graduated from Hartland High School and attended MSU. He was displayed great abilities in the mechanical, electrical, and in the excavating fields. Dale was employed as a maintenance mechanic with Gordon foods for twenty years. He was an excellent musician playing bass, banjo, and singing with the Livingston County Grass Band and the Detroit Blue Grass Band. Dale enjoyed snowmobiling, ATV, and motorcycle riding. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and collector.
Dale is survived by, his mother, Christine "Gommy" Estep, brother, Duane (Renay) Estep of Elizabethton, TN; nephews, Kyle (Julie) Estep of Elizabethton, TN, and Brent (Martha) Estep of Douglasville, GA; great nephews, Preston, Wyatt, and Brennon; and great niece, Emmalyn.
