Dafne Imelda Ward was born to the late Anatolio Garcia and Saturnina Abrego, a businessman and a homemaker, in Panama City, Panama on May 18, 1967. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 23 and went on to have a successful career in the medical field.
Dafne was blessed with a loving family. She married her best friend and love of her life, David Ward, on December 1st, 1989 in Panama City, Panama. Dafne raised her children with an over abundance of love, patience, and kindness. She taught them to always help those in need, to follow their heart, and to cherish every moment with family.
Dafne loved life and was a family person at heart. She also loved gardening, reading, and camping. She had a fiery and vivacious personality, but was always willing to help out in any way, even if that was the shirt off her back. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her, especially her loved ones.
Dafne is survived by her husband, David; her children Estephanie, Steven, and Victor; her mother Saturnina; her siblings Mirna, Sara, Benita, and Aaron. She is preceded in death by her father Anatolio.
