Cynthia Vaughn-Robinson

August 9, 1958 — July 16, 2024

Fenton

Cynthia Jean Vaughn-Robinson, 65, passed away July 16, 2024, in Fenton Michigan due to natural causes. Cynthia (Cyndi) is survived in life by her loving husband of 44 years Darrell, her son Adam (wife Tara) Robinson, her daughter Vanessa (husband Drew) Harpp and their beautiful children Ayviana, Adley, and Anderson.

Cynthia is also survived by her mother Judith (Grammie Judy) Vaughn (Spears), her brother Kevin (wife Beth) Vaughn and sister Beth Ann (husband Dave) Vaughn-Bruni. The only comfort that can be found in her sudden passing is knowing that Cyndi is in the arms of her loving father David Vaughn who has preceded her on the path to Heaven.

Cyndi was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1958 and grew up on Wolverine Lake and attended Walled Lake Western High School, graduating in 1976. Shortly after graduating she met the love of her life, Darrell Robinson. They were married on June 7, 1980, at Northville’s historic Mill Race Village. They built a life and family together in downtown Milford Michigan and then later transitioned to Highland Michigan “lake life” where they enjoyed years of entertaining and boating with their friends and family.

Cyndi was a loving, enthusiastic, beautiful, and dedicated mother and grandmother. In the beginning she became an expert at making homemade organic baby food from scratch to making the kids clothes on her sewing machine. As the kids grew, whatever the kids were into soccer, tennis, robotics, dance, cheerleading, no matter what Cyndi was that mom in the stands or auditoriums cheering her kids on - she was “all in” and lived for and cherished every single event they had. With her beloved grandchildren, she loved their aerial, dance recitals, soccer matches and anything and everything they did, and especially the simple joys of a day at the playground with them.

Being a stay-at-home mom, while the children were young Cyndi built successful home businesses selling Avon and Christmas Around the World products. As the kids got older, Cyndi’s sales enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit allowed her to build a successful real estate business at Real Estate One in Milford. She earned the title of “Top Agent” many times throughout her career. Her work philosophy was: early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and advertise. One of Cyndi’s greatest joys was helping people get their dream home or complete a complicated sale. She set ambitious goals, reviewed them every day and achieved all her dreams.

Throughout her life and especially in retirement Cyndi and Darrell have continued to share passions for sunrises, photography, music, piano, real estate, antiques, car collecting, boating, and traveling. All the while they split their time between Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina where both of their children, their spouses and three beautiful grandchildren now reside. The past few years in North Carolina allowed Cyndi to pour her signature enthusiasm into her role as “Nanna Cyndi.” Cyndi also kept in close contact with many friends in faith, family and co-workers and she was lovingly attached to her cherished dog “Ruby.”

Above all, Cyndi was deeply devoted to the Lord and embraced that relationship with great passion and unshakable faith. It is only knowing that Cyndi is now in the arms of Jesus Christ, her lord and savior, that her family can begin to find any comfort in her early departure from this life.
