Cynthia "Cindy" Sue Severance

Cynthia "Cindy" Sue Severance, age 74, of Flushing, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.

Cindy was born on June 19, 1950 in Flint, the daughter of Virgil and Opal (Thomas) Swims. She graduated from Flint Southwestern High School, class of 1969. Cindy and Robert were united in marriage on September 13, 1969 in Flint.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert; two daughters, Tina Severance (Jesus Fonte) and Crystal (Jeremy) Gill; three grandchildren; and brother and two sisters. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Swims; mother, Opal Swims; and brother, Nelson Swims. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
