FISH, Curtis L., age 83 of Flint, died at home on Monday, January 7, 2008. Â Curtis was born in Kennett, Missouri on October 20, 1924 the son of Adolph and Myrtle (Berry) Fish. Â He spent his early years in Missouri, coming to Michigan after college and his service in the U.S. Navy. Â He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Naval Service on January 4, 1946 as an Aviation Radioman 3rd Classand had served in the Pacific Theatre. On April 4, 1949, he married Uldene Beebe. Curtis was a 57 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and through them worked for many area electrical contractors. He loved his family, Â his many longtime faithful friends, and country music, and his longtime membership in the Eastside Senior Center. Surviving are: Â his wife Uldene; his children: Â Robert A. (Jean) Simpson, Deborah (Douglas) Culhane, Denise Fish, Dawn (Jack) Arnould, and Deanna (Ken) Howerton. Â Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, his 2 sisters; Fern Nevels and Helen Wheatley and a brother, Gary (Ann) Fish. Â Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Â Richard Allen Simpson. Â Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Â Pastor Jack Dowden will officiate and burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday visitation will be from 12 noon to service time. Memorial contributions in his name may be offered to the Emmanuel Baptist Church or to the Eastside Senior Citizens Center.
