Curtis Balius

Balius, Curtis Chad "Rookie" - Age 51, of Flint, died June 11, 2019. A celebration of life will be held 12 PM Tuesday June 18 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday, and from 11 AM Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in lieu of flowers to Curt Balius Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Curtis was born October 14, 1967 in Flint, the son of Curtis A. and Shelia (Darago) Balius. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School. He loved, played and coached baseball his entire life. Curt is survived by his wife: Erika Revette-Balius; 2 sons: Gavin and Nolan; parents: Curtis and Shelia; sisters, LeighAnn Deleon, Christal Piesko; mother-in-law: Mary Revette; brother-in-law: Jeff Revette; father-in-law: David Revette; many more relatives and friends and extended baseball families who loved him so much. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gasper Darago, Lilian Teed, Louis L. Bailus, and Mary Bailus. Special thanks to the Visser family and Saginaw Bay Riverdawgs.
