POWELL, Craig W. - Age 43, of Fenton, died March 29, 2005 at his home. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thursday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice. Craig was born April 4, 1961 in Flint the son of William and Catherine (Ferguson) Powell. He had resided in Fenton all of his life and attended from Fenton High School. He owned and operated Craig's Trucking and Boulder Walls. He was a avid deer hunter and NASCAR fan. Surviving are: mother, Catherine Ferguson of Fenton; fiancâ?se Mary Shaffer of Fenton; brother, William Powell II of Fenton; sisters, Tammy and husband Robert Frownfelter of Fenton, Kim Powell of Swartz Creek; step-children, Steven Shaffer of Argentine, Melissa Shaffer and Mike and grandsons, Owen and Walter Chase of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews, Erin and her daughter, Lilly, Ashley, Kayla, Emma, and Spenser.
