Craig Michael Hicks

Hicks, Craig Michael - Age 64, of  Grand Blanc, died February 24, 2024. Memorial service will be held  11 AM Tuesday March 12 at South Flint Tabernacle, 3450 S. Saginaw St., Burton with Pastor Jason McGhee and Bishop Robert E. Henson officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in lieu of flowers to the Craig Hicks Memorial Fund. 

Craig was born January 18, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the son of James Hicks and Donna (Abbey) Hicks. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He then pursued a career to become a social worker. This led to him helping many people with substance abuse counseling. He owned and operated Hicks Custom Painting in Grand Blanc and Gulf Breeze Custom Painting in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Craig was very involved in both of his churches, South Flint Tabernacle and First Pentecostal Church of Pensacola, Florida. Craig loved his Lord. He had endless enjoyment from his Bible studies. He truly loved his church families and spending time with them. 

Surviving are: his mother Donna Hicks of Grand Blanc; two brothers, Kirk Hicks of Sarasota, FL, Scott Hicks of Grand Blanc; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Craig was preceded in death by his father, James Hicks; and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Albert Abbey and Leonard and Edith Hicks.
