Cosme Castanon Jr.

CASTANON JR. Cosme --Age 64, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday January 04,2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday January 13, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be 4-8 PM  Wednesday at the funeral home. Cosme was born in Flint Michigan. The son of Cosme and Guadalupe (Valencia) Castanon. He lived in the Swartz Creek area for many years. He worked for GM truck and bus over 40 years in the repair final process department 2552. Cosme was a hard worker that was kind, caring , generous, but most importantly a loving man. His love shined bright, through everyone’s soul that he met. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather,brother, and uncle to many. Surviving are his children, Cosme Castanon III (bj), Jeramie Castanon, and Adelita Hanson. Also surviving are his grandchildren Alina Jayde Pawl-Castanon, Corrin Sade Paul-Castanon and Sydney Ann Hanson. Further Survivors are his siblings Juanita Spooner-Arreguin, Refugia O Whitten, Aurelia Villarreal, Felipe(Melanie) Castanon, Amelia Bays, Guadalupe Dillet, Estaban(Paula) Castanon, and Domingo (Tracy) Castanon. Also surviving is his step Father Alex. Cosme was proceeded in death by his wife Gloria , parents and brother Thomas Castanon. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com .
