Cory Josephnek Sr

SRNEK, Cory Joseph - age 50, of Linden, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, August 21, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Saturday, 2-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Cory was born April 15, 1956 in Flint, the son of Charles V. and Leona J. (Rickard) Srnek. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for General Motors for 20 years. Cory loved motorcycles, but most of all adored his grandchildren. Surviving are: three daughters, Sarah (Jerry) Simpson of TX, Holly (Eric) Lawrence of MS, Jaime Srnek of Swartz Creek; fiancee, Jennifer Hahn of Linden and her children, Jessica and Kelliegh; three grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Emmagen; two brothers, Steve (Charlene) Srnek, Frank Srnek, all of Linden; sister, Pam (Joseph) Pekkala of NC.
