Corinne O'Dell

O'Dell, Corinne, age 83 of Grand Blanc, died at Medi-Lodge of Montrose on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Mrs. O'Dell was born in Flint on January 10, 1926 the daughter of Charles and Ethel J. (Alford) Henley. She has been an area resident all her life. In 1941 she and William O'Dell were married in Ohio and they have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. She was a L.P.N. at McLaren Regional Medical Center for several years. Mrs. O'Dell enjoyed gardening, but especially enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Surviving are her husband, William O'Dell; two sons; William O'Dell and wife Mary Jo of Durand and Pastor Donald O'Dell and wife Marjorie of Flint. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jack and 3 brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp. Her son, Pastor Donald O'Dell will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.Wednesday visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to service time.
