Constance Maxine -Connie- Harris

HARRIS, Constance Maxine Connie- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, December 15, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek.  Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 5-9 PM Tuesday and 1-9 PM Wednesday.  A vigil service will be held 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.  Those desiring may make contributions to Food Bank of  Eastern Michigan 2310 Lapeer Road, Flint, MI  48503.  Mrs. Harris was born July 7, 1926 in Flint, the daughter of George L. and Rosina T. (Mangold) Cook.  She was a 1943 graduate of Kearsley High School and attended GMI Business School.  She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1961 coming from Flint and retired in 1987 from GMSPO as a computer programmer after 34 years of service.  She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, IBG Retirees, Car Club, Flint Travel Club.  She enjoyed traveling, bingo, casinos and bowling.  Surviving are:  3 children, Richard E. Harris of Swartz Creek, Ronald L. and wife Dawn Harris of Williamston, Luanne K. and husband Robert Kondel of Gaines; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Dawn) Harris of Flint, Stacey, Todd, Alex, Tara Harris of Williamston, Andrea (Kondel)and husband Brian Trubiro of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Kondel of Canada, Philip Kondel of Grand Blanc; 5 great grandchildren, Allison, Daniel, Kristen, Katelyn, Raegan; brother-in-law, Floyd Ridley of Woodbridge, VA; special nephews, Donald (Peggy) Ridley, Joe, Tom and Tim Cook.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leonard Cook; sister, Dolores Ridley; grandson, Dennis Harris.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
