Constance Hanson

HANSON, Constance "Connie" Mae -- Age 72 of Mt. Morris, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 31, 2014. Funeral services will take place 11 AM, Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Tuesday, and from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Autism Society of Genesee County, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or the American Cancer Society. Connie was born March 12, 1942 in Wallace Idaho, daughter of the late Vera Sauer and Eugene Adams. Connie married her loving husband Allen on July 11, 1960 in Shelby, Montana. Connie and Allen moved to Burton, MI where they lived for nearly 45 years before moving to Fenton and then Mt. Morris. In her younger years, Connie was active in her sons' lives, Mother's Club, PTA, Scouts, and camping. Connie worked at K-Mart for 13 years as a bookkeeper. She then owned Something Special Wedding and Party, where every client was special. Connie enjoyed reading, tinkering on the computer and BINGO! Connie declared, "I have always walked with Jesus and did my best to please my Lord. I will watch over my loving family: Children, Gary Hanson, Larry (Adrienne) Hanson and Michael Hanson; Grandchildren, Mandy Stratton, Christopher Colburn, Zachary Hanson, Sven Hanson, Jacob Hanson, Summer Hanson and Lars Hanson, great-grandson Zack Hanson, Riley Hanson and finally, 'baby' Pepsi, my beloved Chihuahua." Connie is survived by the family mentioned above along with her forever husband Allen Hanson, sister's Shirley McLean of Washington, Betty Cross; many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law and her niece Angie and grandson Bjorn. Connie stated "I will now join and hold my grandson Bjorn."
