Constance Ann DIMENT

DIMENT, Constance Ann - Age 75, longtime resident of Flint-Beaverton and a resident of Grand Blanc the last 3 years, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, April 6, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. Visitation will be 2-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Hurley, P.O. Box 586, Fenton, MI 48430. Constance was born April 25, 1933 to Ivan and Dorothy Morley. She was a 1951 graduate of Saginaw High School. Connie and Robert E. Diment were married in 1953 and they moved to the Flint area in 1962. In 1975 she went to work for the Flint Community Schools at the Genesee Area Skill Center, Neithercut, Coolidge and Cummings Elementary Schools, retiring in 1992. She was an avid sports enthusiast loved living on Wixom Lake, bird watching and a grilled pecan roll. She was a loving person who loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Connie leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Pam Flores and her husband Chris of Flint, Tracey Bernard and her husband Seth of Grand Blanc; sons, Matthew Morley Diment of Fenton, Robert T. Diment and wife Kim of Clio; grandchildren, Jourdan Diment and fiance David Pettengill, Crysta Diment, Austin Flores, Morley Diment, Alexandria Flores, Megan Bernard, Michael Bernard, Delaney Diment, Robert C. Diment; sister, Jacqueline Lockyer and husband Arron of GA; sister-in-law, Carolyn Scouten and husband Del of Southgate, MI. Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Bob and her parents, Dorothy and Ivan. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Bill Bernard, Chris J. and the staff from Genesys Hospice and the staff of Abbey Park.
