CARLSON, Connie Marie - Age 39, of Burton, died Thursday, June 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Greg Rowan officiating Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens, Davison. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Connie was born in Flint, on May 30, 1977, the daughter of Harvey Wayne and Dolly Imogene (Varnum) Carlson. Connie was employed by Big Boy off and on the past 18 years. Connie loved to plant flowers in her yard, spending time with her children, going to bingo and scratching lottery tickets. She was loved by all who knew her and always made people laugh. In her memory she leaves to cherish her son, Cameron Shaffer of Swartz Creek; daughter, Micala Shaffer of Burton; mother, Dolly (Jim) Hoover of Fenton; sister, Christina (Bob) Holden of Holly; brother, Bob Moore of Clio; niece and nephew Abby and Jacob; mother-in-law, Sue Kietzman of Swartz Creek and father of her children Shawn Shaffer of PA.
