BRAUND, Colleen Ann (Lacey) - Age 42, of Byron, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 15, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Howell. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 6-9 PM and Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Colleen Braund Memorial Fund. Colleen was born November 17, 1968 in Flint, the daughter of Ted Owen and Ruth Lorraine (Craig) Lacey. She married Michael Braund June 18, 1994 in Byron. She had resided in Byron since 1982. Colleen had been employed by Fairway Discount Store in Byron. She also was a volunteer for the Genesee County Fair. Surviving are: husband, Michael; son, Samuel Braund of Byron; parents, Ted and Ruth Lacey of Byron; sister, Jeanene and husband Dean Bird of Byron; 4 brothers, Dennis and wife Irene Lacey of Burton, Bryan and wife Cheryl Lacey of Durand, Bradley Lacey and wife Roberta of Gaines and Glen Lacey of Byron; father-in-law, Leland Braund of Atlanta; 3 brothers-in-law, Chris Braund of Indian River, Craig Braund of Parshallville and Eric Braund of Livonia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
