Clinton -Glen- H. Halsey

HALSEY, Clinton H. 'Glen', age 92, of Fenton, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Crestmont Healthcare Facility. Private services have been held. Clinton was born February 23, 1914 in Canton, Ohio, the son of Harrison and Maude (Barton) Halsey. He married Madelynn Adair on February 29, 1936 in Flint, and she preceded him in death in 1995. He then married G. Glee Metcalfe and he preceded her in death by 3 hours on September 6, 2006.  Clinton served in the Philippines as PFC in the U.S. Army in WWII. He received the Victory Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon with three Bronze Stars, the Philippine Liberation Medal with 31 Bronze Battle Star and the Good Conduct Medal. He started work at GM in Flint upon returning from the service and stayed there until he retired. Surviving are his granddaughter, Kimberly and husband Glenn Brooks of York, PA; great-grandson, Andrew Brooks of York, PA. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Judy.
