Clifton Burleigh

BURLEIGH, Clifton E. - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, died July 21, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday July 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Deacon Gary Gallagher officiating. Interment 1PM Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9 AM until time on service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of choice. Mr. Burleigh was born August 17, 1926 in Flint, the son of Paul and Dorothy (Beatenhead) Burleigh. He married Shirley Moffitt. He served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the VFW. He retired from General Motors Ternstedt. Clifton is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters Jennifer Lynn (Michael) Echlin, and their children, Jeff, Belinda, and Joe, Dianne Gail Lee; and her children, Jason, Brianna, and Frederick; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
