Clifford David Moore

MOORE, Clifford D. - age 88 of Swartz Creek, died October 28, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, November 6, 2023, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855 with Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM followed by a Knights of Columbus service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Clifford D. Moore Memorial Fund. Clifford was born May 5, 1935, in Highland Park, MI, the son of Frederick George and Margaret Deanna (Richardson) Moore. He was a 1953 graduate of Pershing High School in Detroit.  Clifford married Patricia Ann Jelsch on May 1, 1954, in Detroit. He managed multiple medical practices, including Regional Cardiology Associates where he retired from in 2004. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Clifford also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are: wife, Patricia Moore; five sons, David (Nancy) Moore of Durand, Michael (Janet) Moore of Gross Pointe Woods, Dennis (Cathy) Moore of Linden, Christopher (Becky) Moore of Grand Blanc and Clifford M. (Kristine) Moore of Byron; daughter-in-law, Colleen Serkaian; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his son, Terry Moore; his parents; brother, Frederick George Moore, Jr; and great-grandson, Leland Blakemore. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
