Clifford Nelson LEE

LEE, Clifford Nelson, of Burton, age 65, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, surrounded by his daughters, girlfriend and his family. Cliff fought a courageous battle with cancer over the past 6 months. He spent his last week at Medi-lodge of Montrose where he left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all of the caregivers who met him and cared for him. The Funeral Celebration will be held from 12-4p on Friday, August 28, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. The funeral service is the same day at 4pm. Following the service, a toast will be held at the Red Baron of Burton. In lieu of flowers, you can make contribution in Cliff's memory to Medi-lodge of Montrose. Cliff requested that all family and friends come to celebrate his life in casual attire. Cliff was born in Omer, Michigan on February 4, 1944. He was raised in AuGres, Michigan. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and the outdoors. He was a loyal member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local 669. Cliff was a loving father, brother and friend. He enjoyed hanging out and socializing with others. Cliff is survived by his girlfriend Bernice Van Horn of Standish; his daughters, Anna (Chris) Moyer of Clio and Jean (Kent) Morrison of Saline; 5 grandchildren, Cameron, Melody, Kaylee, Stephanie, Brendan; His sister's Leona Grimes of Burton, Pat (Jake) Jacek of Sault Ste. Marie, and Don (Jackie) Lee of AuGres. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends from the Baron. He was preceded in death by daughter Darlene Lee of Clio and his parents Nelson and Lillian (Bordeau) of AuGres and Del Grimes of Burton. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Medi-Lodge of Montrose. Special thanks to the many staff members for their love and support to both Cliff and his family; especially Maggie, Bill, Randy and Cara.
