Clifford John 'Cliff' BLOCK

BLOCK, Clifford John "Cliff" - Age 67, of Fenton, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 with his family by his side at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Cliff was born October 24, 1942 in Traverse City, the son of John L. and Betty Jean (Gabriel) Block. He was a 1960 graduate of Fenton High School and had attended Western Michigan University. He married Cheryl Lynn Guerrier August 3, 1964 in Flint. Cliff worked 27 years for the Fenton Police Department as a police officer and dispatcher. He resided in Fenton since 1964. Surviving are: wife, Cheryl; 3 children, Christine Rinehart of Traverse City, Clifford and wife Cheryl Block of Midland and Cortney and husband Steve Ragnone of Linden; 7 grandchildren, Kalee, Jimmy, Joshua, Eastin, Sydney, Richie and Robbie; 2 sisters, Gwen Weimer of Arizona and Connie Klein of Traverse City; special family Richard and Martha Rhyndress of Linden; several nieces and nephews.
