Monroe, Cleeta G. - age 84, of Swartz Creek, Passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Durand Senior Center. Funeral Services will be held 1PM Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Ryan Champion Officiating. Burial immediatly following in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. The family will receive friends from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Friday and 12noon until time of service. Cleeta was born June 7, 1924 in Leachville Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ivan and Mary (Broughton) Jaco. Cleeta spent most of her life in Genesee County. She married Terry Monroe on September 20, 1941 in Cardwell Missouri, who preceded her in death May 29, 1978. Mrs. Monroe was a member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She leaves behind her children, Son Daniel G. Monroe of Davison, Daughters Barbara(Gary) Woodard of Durand and Pamela (Rod) Town of Gaines, 13 Grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, Brother Alfred B.
