Clayton Wilbur Smith

SMITH, Clayton Wilbur  Age 80, of Flint, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Friday, November 11, 2005 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness  West Congregation, 1187 S. Dye Rd., Flint with Mr. Jeff Ragan officiating. Mr. Smith was born August 20, 1925 in Byron, the son of George and Mildred (Merrill) Smith. He married Eva M. Stenger-Wheaton on June 10, 1950 in Caro, MI and she preceded him in death on April 18, 1998. Mr. Smith retired from GM V-8 Plant in 1976 after 30 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 659 and Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness West Congregation. Surviving are: three children, Kenneth (Mary) Smith of Kingston, MI, Debra (Douglas) Goode of Flint, Ronald Smith of MD; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Smith of Lansing.
