Clarence Keith POMMRANTZ

POMMRANTZ, Clarence "Keith" - age 89, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Select Specialty Care. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2051 W. Maple Rd., Flint. Pastor Boerger officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors; Peace Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice. Keith was born October 30, 1922 in Port Huron, MI, the son of Herman and Nora (Williams) Pommrantz. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Pommrantz retired from General Motors Metal Fab in 1985 after 30 years of service. He married Joanne Elcoate on September 6, 1986. Keith was a talented artist who had several works of art displayed at home. In his leisure time, Keith enjoyed fishing and dancing. Surviving are: wife, Joanne; daughters, Sharon Robbins of TX, Pamela Zemore of Flushing; sons, Dennis Pommrantz (Judy) of Fenton, Patrick Elcoate of Swartz Creek; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
