HOFFMAN, Clarence L. - Age 89, of Flint, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice, Davison. Clarence was born October 12, 1917 in Violonia, Arkansas. He has been a resident of Genesee County since 1952. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. Mr Hoffman retired in 1980 from Chevrolet Truck and Bus division, where he had been employed for 28 years. He is survived by 3 children, Carolyn Gibson and husband, Alden of Flint, Mark Hoffman and wife, Rachel of Byron, Marilyn Weathers and husband Robert. Also surviving are 3 brothers and 4 sisters; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell, Danielle Morgan, Raenee Hoffman, Justin Eisman, Mark Hoffman, Jr, Steven Morgan; 2 great-grandchildren, Colby and Bryce Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances L. Hoffman. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Owosso.
