Clarence H. Crouter

CROUTER, Clarence H., age 86 a lifelong resident of Grand Blanc, died March 27, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center.  Mr. Crouter was born on June 27, 1919 in Grand Blanc the son of Roy and Grace (Cook) Crouter.  He and Evelyn Woodbury were married on December 20, 1946 in Grand Blanc.  She preceded him in death in 1998.  Mr. Crouter was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed at the Fisher Body Division #1 for 30 years, retiring in 1974.  Surviving are 2 daughters; Marsha Anderson and husband Tom of Cheboygan and Janet McDuffie and husband Clayton of Camilla, Georgia.  Also surviving is a grandson; Tommy Anderson of Cheboygan, a sister; Marion Tinklepaugh of Grand Blanc and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held 11 AM Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., (just South of Hill Rd.) with Minister  Kay Adair officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Thursday and 10 AM until the time of service Friday. The family is accepting memorial gifts to the Genesys Hospice Care Center or to the Michigan Cancer Society.
