Clare Harding Rhyndress

RHYNDRESS, Clare Harding - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Flint, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, February 24, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2-9PM Thursday and 10:00AM until time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice Care Center. Mr. Rhyndress was born November 1, 1920 in Flint, the son of Prince Albert and Margaret J. (Byers) Rhyndress. He married Lagora Elaine White February 27, 1971 in Flint and she preceded him in death February 2, 2005. He retired from AC Spark Plug in 1972 after 33 ï¿Â½,« years of service. He served in the National Guard and had resided in the Flint area all his life. Surviving are: 3 children, Paula and husband Fred Narrin of Tulsa, OK, David and wife Lynn of Fenton, Richard and wife Martha of Linden; 8 grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Mansfield, Christine Narrin, James (Stacy) Narrin, Jason Merrit, Amanda Rhyndress, Brandala Rhyndress, Matthew (Joellen) Rhyndress and Angela (Daniel) Hudson; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and sisters; and his childrens mother, Ruby Rhyndress.
