Clara Lucille Newhart

NEWHART, Clara Lucille - Age 97, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, August 18, 2019. Cremation has taken place and no services will take place.

Clara was born January 25, 1922 in Harvey, IL the daughter of John L. and Clara U. (Holderson) Flanagan. She married Howard L. Newhart November 25, 1945 in Harvey, IL and he preceded her in death August 15, 1992. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1989 coming from Flint.

Surviving are: her son, Gregory and wife Pamela; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Newhart (S. Lee Johnson), G.Scott (Christine) Newhart, Nicholas (Christie) Sazy, and Lindsay Sazy (Farrin Dunn); 9 great grandchildren; brother, Earl Flanagan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carol Sazy; and sisters, Evelyn and Marian. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
