ROGERS, Christopher Leon - age 30, of Flint, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Brian Spooner officiating. Visitation will be held 12PM-8PM Wednesday and 11 AM until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Christopher was born May 12, 1987 in Winston-Salem, NC, the son of Leonard Rogers and Melody Allen. He married Kimberly Waldie on October 15, 2005. Christopher was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, music, cooking, football and wrestling. Surviving are: wife, Kimberly Rogers; three children, Cameron, Anjalena, and Caleb; father Leonard (Annie) Rogers; mother Melody Allen; siblings, Christine (Carvell) Allen, Christy Rogers, Alisha (Ruben) Rogers, Beau Smith, George Smith, Jacob Smith, Jamie Smith and Jeremy Frum; Buddy Lee Rogers; grandparents, Mavis and Verlin Ray and grandmother, Sarah Allen; aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: grandfather, Leonard Rogers, Sr.; aunts, Teresa Verdier, Aleutia "Aunt Lou" Allen; uncle, Berkley "Berk" Rogers; and best friend, Ronnie Belcher.
