PETERS, Christopher Alex -- Age 30, of Fenton, died December 24, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 30 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Jim Wiegand officiating. Interment 11 AM Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday and Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Christopher was born March 22, 1977 in Pontiac. He had resided in Fenton for 28 years and was a graduate of Fenton High School. He also attended Hampshire Country School. He was employed by McDonald's in Fenton. Surviving are: mother, Loretta Peters of Fenton; grandfather, John Peters of Goodrich; paternal grandparents, Bobbie and Shirley Rodgers of Tennessee; sister, Kellie Riggs of Fenton; aunts and uncles, Colette and Matthew VanTol of Lake Fenton, Alita and Scott Bigham of West Palm Beach, FL; biological mother, Sheryl Johnson of Montrose; two nieces, Jennifer and Emily VanTol; beloved cat, Mufasa.
