Christine W. Overfield

OVERFIELD, Christine W. - Age 87, of Fenton, formerly of Warren, passed away January 23, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2PM, Saturday, January 27, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will be held at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East at a later date. Visitation will be held 12PM- 2PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warrior Project. Christine was born March 6, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Colin and Christina (MacFarlane) Sneddon. Christine graduated from Detroit Cass Tech High School in 1953. She continued her education and received her Bachelor's degree in Education at Wayne State University. She had a teaching career for many years and later worked with her husband in his dental practice. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Warren, and the Red Hat Society of Fenton. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and traveling to the cabin in Luzerne.

Surviving are: Sons, Scott (Tricia) Overfield, Gregg (Melissa) Overfield; five grandchildren, Courtney (Tyler) Allen, Katie (Carl) Knapp, Brenton Overfield, Griffin Overfield, Nolan Overfield; four great-grandchildren, Anderson, Reece, Addison, Luke.
