Christine "Chris" Harris

Harris, Christine "Chris" - Age 72, of Flint, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023. Cremation has taken place and Christine will be laid to rest, alongside her husband, Larry at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at 11:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2024. Christine was born August 23, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Darlene (Lason) Shockley. She worked for many years at General Motors before earning her Associates Degree form Mott Community College. She was a dialysis nurse for 13 years before working for, and retiring from, Hurley Medical Center. Christine loved reading, knitting, crocheting, and yard work. 

She is survived by her children, Marty (Christy) Neisler of Greenfield, IN., Stacey (Michael) Gasparovic of Bellevue, WA., Tony Harris of Flint, Kelly Harris of Puyallup, WA.; mother, Darlene Shockley; grandchildren, Carmen, Kylie, Johnathan, Kristine, Ryan, Stephany, Gabriella, Tyler, Logan, Wyatt, Christopher, Cameron and Peyton; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Montana, Reese, Rayna, Aliyah, Brayden, and Lucas; sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Deshaiesr of Fort Pierce, FL, Pat (Dave) Sprague of Vassar, Brenda Ankney of Greenfield, IN.; nieces, nephews; extended family and friends. 

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; sons, John Bednarski, Brian Neisler; father, Robert Shockley.
