Christine CARROLL

CARROLL, Christine H.,(Long-Gean) age 80 of Mt. Morris , died Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Holly Convalescent Center. She was born in Flint on October 15, 1929 the daughter of Marion and Cora (Hyde) Gean. Mrs. Carroll has been a Flint area resident all her lifetime. She was a barmaid in the area for several lounges, retiring after 20 years. Surviving are her 7 children: William M. Long (Debbie)of Durand, Donna H. Scyphers (Tom) of Mansfield, Ohio, Linda G. Boyle of Lapeer, Clifford R. Long (Carol) of Cherokee, N.C., Alice G. Coffell (James) of Grand Blanc, Martha A. DeLaCruz of Swartz Creek and Melissa L. Long of North Carolina. There are 19 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren; 3 sisters; Thelma, Joyce and Vicki and a brother, Richard Gean. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at The Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp. Pastor Joel L. Stiff will officiate.
