BLAKE, Christine C. - Age 84, of Fenton, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church, 4222 N. Elms Rd., Flushing with Pastor Lynn Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Mrs. Blake was born in Grand Rapids on December 25, 1922. She lived in Fenton  most of her life and was a graduate of Fenton High School. She was employed by Detroit Battery and Home Interior Sales. Mrs. Blake was a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are 7 children, Lynn Mary Blake of Flushing, Donna Rose and husband Jake Turnbow of Burton, Penny and husband Mike Waltman of Rockford, Lorrie and husband Paul Sage of Fenton, Larry and wife Cathy Blake of Tawas, Frank and wife Robin Blake of Lake Fenton, Darryl Blake of Tawas; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters; brother, Norman Spear and wife, Linda of FL; sister, Dean Lukes of Auburn; sister-in-law, Wanda Spear of Fenton.
