HAMBY, Christian Michael - Age 25, of Swartz Creek, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI.  Fr. Gene Geromel officiating.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the Deaf Service at 5:30 PM (A live stream of the Deaf Service will be available on Christian's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.)  Those desiring may make contributions to The Medical Team Hospice or St. Bartholomew Anglican Church.

Christian was born December 24, 1997 in Grand Blanc.  He was a 2016 graduate of The Michigan School of the Deaf.  He  resided in Swartz Creek his entire life. He was a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and St. Bartholomew Anglican Church.

Surviving are: grandparents, Susan Dishaw (Larry Dishaw, deceased) and David Hamby; mother, Trisha Hamby Shelhart; great grandparents, (Edna Woodell, deceased) and Donald Dishaw (Esther Dishaw, deceased); godparents, Alex Merritt (Ashle Merritt) and Gina Gallutia (Adam Gallutia); aunts and uncles, Alexander and Ashle Merritt, Robin and Steve Zink, Stephen Woodell, (Doug Woodell, deceased) Donna Bukowski and Randy Burt (Ronald Bukowski, deceased), Sandy and Greg Persons, Tom and Marcy Dishaw and Dennis and Jodi Brtva; special friends, Esther Coble, Danny Kenndy, Jr., CJ Langmaid, Cody Blanchard and Kayla O'Neal; and several cousins.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
