Christa Poeszat

POESZAT, Christa Renee - Age 52, of Fenton, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021.  Per her family's request cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1025 Main St, Fenton, MI 48430.

Christa was born March 26, 1969 in LaGrange, IL, the daughter of Gunter and Hertha (Guist) Poeszat.  She was a 1987 graduate of Farmington High School and received a Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College.  She had resided in Fenton for the past 20 years coming from Farmington Hills.  Christa had been employed by Merchant & Medical Credit in Flint.

Surviving are: her mother, Hertha; sister, Erin McLeish of Redford; brother, Jeffrey (Patti) Poeszat of Commerce Township; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Kevin, Alexis, David, Jessica, Harrison, and Kennedy.  She was preceded in death by her father, Gunter Poeszat.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
