Chris Jensen

JENSEN, Chris David - Age 56, of Swartz Creek, died after his battle with cancer on Saturday July 14, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Monday July 23 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with a meal to follow. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek. Those desiring to make contributions, to the Genesee County Humane Society. Chris was born January 16, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the son of David R. and Sharon L. (Leffler) Jensen. Chris was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Red Wings and other Detroit sports teams. He played hockey for many years and was an avid reader. Chris had a great love for animals, especially his dog Molly. Surviving are: parents, David and Sharon of Swartz Creek; brother, Bill (Kelly) Jensen of Midland; sisters, Pam (Bill) Burgess of Grand Blanc, Jennifer (Aaron) O'Brien of Fenton; nieces and nephews, Collin, Caleigh, Jillian Burgess, Jacob, Taylor, Ellie Jensen; special niece and nephew, Jensen and Luke O'Brien; many aunts, uncles and cousins including his Aunt Karen, the late Uncle George Earle and cousins Jim, Sue and Dan. He was preceded in death by grandparents Chris and Glenn Leffler and Chris and Margaret Jensen.
